Stress often defined as “a state of mental or emotional strain or tension resulting from adverse or demanding circumstances.” Stress not only affects our mental health but, Stress has been called “the silent killer” and can lead to heart disease, high blood pressure, chest pain, and an irregular heartbeat.

In order to live a healthy life management of stress is essential. Stress can b easily managed by following these certain things which personally helped me to overcome and manage stress in a better way…
- Maintain a positive attitude
A positive attitude in life towards all kinds of diversities and different situations of life can act as a great stress controller. Having a positive attitude promotes mental health, maintains a balance in life and fills your life with optimism and positivity.
Accepting the fact that not all things can be controlled by you and keeping your mind ready for all kinds of outcomes whether positive or negative certainly helps in stressing less over something when the outcome is not what was desired.
- Healthy diet
Who does not likes junk food ?? Burgers , momos etc ain’t the just yummmm?? But do we know the kind of food we eat affects alot how we take things. Eating healthy food keeps our mind and body calm and active to think in a better way. Promoting physical as well as mental health a good healthy diet can decrease the level of stress we take.
- Exercise daily
Honestly this was a bit difficult for me initially but by time I adapted myself to it. Exercising daily not only keeps our body fit, but it also cools down our mind and helps us in maintaining a healthy body and mind.
- Enough sleep
A good sound sleep isn’t it a dream for many of us? But honestly a good sleep can help a lot in maintaining your mental as well as physical health. Not only it freshens us but also relieves our mind and acts as a great stress buster.
- Me time
Taking out time for yourself, hanging out with friends, visiting your favourite place these all can promote a positive outlook and a stress less life.
- Talk out
Well sometimes talking to your close ones can relieve most of your tensions and problems nothing else is needed then.
Meditating daily calms down your body and fills you with positivity.
